I am still figuring out when to post and what to post here on Substack. I appreciate y’all being patient as I find my rhythm. I want to be as close to the writing as possible, but that gets hard with a travel and speaking schedule, along with other writing I am doing or invited to do.
I started working with TidyCo Creative, a bespoke creative consultancy firm that is helping me live out my vocational life in the public square. They are helping me be the change maker I am called to be. They are helping me envision tomorrow and make tomorrow a better place to be. Are you a creative? Do you need help or support? Maybe TidyCo Creative can help you! Keep watch on this space as it continues to evolve with he help of consultants who helping me put the fun and creativity into my work that the academia didn’t teach me.
I want to keep the Contemplative THREADS post coming each Monday, but I’m thinking of how to make it compelling. Those posts are for paying subscribers, and I want the community to have something special! How can I continue to provide a contemplative rhythm while also being creative? That is the million dollar questions!
Wednesday and Friday posts have been hard for me to create, so I’m rethinking those two days. I want to do a political roundup post and I want to do a formation post, but how and where and when are the questions I’m asking. What are your ideas?
I love the Sunday Things I Love post. Cathleen Falsani inspired that! Have you read her Substack? You should! She’s brilliant!
So, where do we go from here? I want to remain critically engaged with the world. I want to create. I want to celebrate the joy of relationships and community, but how do I write about these things when the schedule I’ve created may not be as fluid as I once thought? So, I’m thinking thru things and getting help from TidyCo Creative!
Stay tuned! Good things are emerging within me as I’ve had capacity to think over the last month living in Sanctuary. I’m learning to create content and I’m continuing to unhinge from the toxicities of academia. I’m learning to be a teacher and not just a talking head. I am still becoming.
I’ll see you very soon! Thank you all for subscribing and for sticking with me. I think in the new year, I’ll start convening those who are paying to subscribe, so that I can crowdsource ideas on what to write and actually write for the community. So, if you’ve been wanting to join and subscribe, know that zoom meet-ups are on the horizon. I want to get to know my subscribers, have conversations with y’all, and build another possible world. We can bring heaven to earth together. We can practice an ethics of en conjunto right now! We don’t have to wait! So, come join the work of stewarding ethical futures.
Onward, —Dr. Roberto Che Espinoza.
