Dear Community: Mondays are my day off, now, so this email is coming to you later than expected. I’ll endeavor to create this email ahead of Monday morning, so that I can schedule it to deliver Monday morning and you can have this to start your day!

I’ve been thinking about the sacred work of democracy. I’ll be writing on this in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Today, I want to think aloud with you about loving peace as much as people love war. Being MLK Day, we ought to reread MLK’s speech on the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. How might we love peace?

Onward, —Dr. Roberto Che Espinoza
