Dear Substack Community: Yesterday, I made an appeal to help support one of the brothers who received me when I was visiting the Palestinian Territories. He and his family, including 6 kids, have not had a salary in over 80 days. Resources are running very low and things are dire for so many. I’d like to try and get him some money and also get him connected to some relief work that is doing trauma informed work in the West Bank.
This attempt to collect money is a bandaid, but it will put food on the table. This is very important to me. I have collected $193 thus far and I’d like to get to $1,000 USD. Can you spare $20?
